God Loves With An Everlasting Love

God loves with a love everlasting,
A love deeper than the deepest of seas;
A love that encompasses all of mankind,
Yes, a love that encompasses me.

Yes, God loves even me, a vile sinner,
A wretch and a worm from my birth;
Why, He loves me so much that He sent His dear Son
To die a cruel death on this earth.

'Twas His love for mankind that sent His Son to the cross,
His Son born in Bethlehem's stall,
That all who will call on His name should be saved,
For He paid sin's great price once for all.

God loves with a love everlasting,
A love that men can't comprehend,
A love that's eternal, sublime and supernal,
With neither beginning nor end.
