In Everything Gives Thanks

“In everything give thanks,”
For the great and the small,
For blessings abundant
Or no blessing at all.
Give thanks in all things
As it says in God’s Word,
For every blessing we have
Is a gift from the Lord.
Give thanks in the good times;
Give thanks in the bad;
Give thanks for the problems;
Give thanks when your sad;
Give thanks when your happy;
Give thanks for the trials;
Give thanks for the frowns you get;
Give thanks for the smiles.
