Under the Gun

Under the gun for God and His Son,
To suffer and die for the Lord...
Would you be ready? Is your faith sure and steady?
Would you stake your life on His Word?
Under the gun for God and His Son
Is the way many are living today;
In danger of dying, on Christ they’re relying.
They are staking their lives on His Way.
Under the gun for God and His Son
May soon be the state you are in.
Will your faith take you through? To Christ are you true?
Would you be ready to die for Him?
Under the gun for God and His Son,
Or maybe the sword or the knife;
What would you do, my friend, if ‘twas you?
Would you die for your faith in the Christ?
Yes, under the gun for God and His Son;
What if it happened right here?
Would you stand true and firm, upheld in His arms,
Or surrender to terror and fear?
Under the gun for God and His Son...
My friend, if it happened to you,
Would you turn tail and run, as many have done,
Or trust Jesus to carry you through?
