IMPERFECT VESSELS
Our perfect God uses imperfect vessels
In His plan for winning the lost.
He could have used angels
To accomplish His purpose,
But He must have counted the cost.
Yes, our perfect God uses imperfect vessels,
All flawed and scarred by sin,
And washes them clean
In the blood of the Saviour
To praise and glorify Him.
Our perfect God uses imperfect vessels,
His treasures in vessels of clay,
But He’ll mold us and make us
And someday we’ll be perfect
If we’ll only let Him have His way.
Yes, our perfect God works through imperfect vessels,
And I’m happy to be one of them,
And although I’m not perfect
He can still use me
To tell of His grace to all men.
