WHY DO I BELIEVE IN JESUS?

Why do I believe in Jesus? Because I’ve come face to face with me,
And I see in Him perfection That in myself I cannot see.
Why do I believe in Jesus? Because I’ve come to understand
That He framed the worlds and created man By the power of His hand.

Why do I believe in Jesus? Because He makes good His claim
That He is the begotten Son of God; There is power in His name!
Why do I believe in Jesus? Because I read in God’s Holy Word
That the Father gave Him all power; That over ALL He is LORD!

Why do I believe in Jesus? Because no MAN could do what He did
Unless He was God Incarnate Whose form, until then, had been hid.
Why do I believe in Jesus? Because He died for me on a cross;
Gave his life to pay sin’s awful price, To cleanse my life of its dross.

Why do I believe in Jesus? Because my faith in His name
Has cleansed me from sin forever And washed away every stain.
Why do I believe in Jesus? That’s a story I’m eager to tell,
Because He died on a cross and rose again To save my soul from hell.
